We've been through the 80's and 90's, and now we're here in the 2000s, where diss tracks are now a staple in hip-hop. You got to have a club hit, a radio hit, something for the strippers, maybe a track or two for the streets and but definitely now a diss track too.
We scoured the archives and skimmed through dozens and dozens of diss tracks made in the last seven years. Now, here are our Top 10 diss songs of the 2000s... so far. Agree? Disagree? The comments are open for free reign.
10. Checkmate - Jadakiss (2006) - When 50 Cent was feeling a bit invulnerable, he went and attacked the wrong emcee. Jadakiss roasted him with this joint, and 50 hasn't said anything since.
9. Jadakiss Diss Freestyle - Beanie Sigel (2001) - In the classic Beanie/Jada battle (which has since been squashed), Beans came at a Jada with a surprise uppercut, making Jada have to step his game up.
8. Malcolm X - Royce Da 5'9" (2003) - Impressive. Royce took out an entire crew by himself. D12 really didn't come back with anything noteworthy after this. Eminem didn't either.
7. F**** Beanie - Jadakiss (2001) - Jada pretty much shut down his battle with Beans after this joint. Ouch! Who knew?
6. 300 Bars and Runnin' - The Game (2005) - After being ousted of G-Unit by 50 Cent, The Game spent 15 minutes tearing apart his former crew. You could argue that G-Unit hasn't been the same since.
5. Ova Here - KRS-One (2002) - It's a mistake to diss KRS-One, an emcee who came into the game ruining rappers' careers. But Nelly had the guts to do it, KRS responded and we really haven't seen Nells since.
4. Acknowledge - Masta Ace (2001) - Ace and High & Mighty settled their differences before this song came out. But Ace really tore apart Boogie Man in the second verse, a nobody who came out of nowhere dissing the vet. Best line? "You can't spit, so obviously you must swallow!" Woo!
3. Nail in the Coffin - Eminem (2002) - Benzino and The Source made a mistake trying to attack Eminem. Not only did Em murder Benzino and the magazine in this track and "The Sauce", Interscope pulled its advertising and the magazine fell hard. What's beef, for real? Now Zino wants peace.
2. The Takeover - Jay-Z (2001) - Jiggaman introduced this track at Summer Jam back in 2001 which put the whole hip-hop world on edge. He dissed Mobb Deep, and then came at Nas with no shame. What can of worms was Jay opening?
1. Ether - Nas (2001) - What happens when you diss a man shortly after his mother dies? You get ether'd. Nas responded with one of the best diss tracks in hip-hop history, destroying Jay and Roc-A-Fella Records and eventually resurrecting his hunger that had been absent for a couple of albums. But Jay signed Nas. Who really won?

My only issue with this list is having Beanie's diss lower than Jada's. I mean everyone has agreed that Beanie won that battle...they had to turn off the record to keep him from going, he buried Jada and Kiss didn't want no more probs after that..

As much as I don't like anything 50's dropped since he signed with Eminem, how are you going to leave out "The Art of Getting Robbed," or "How to Rob," or whatever we're calling it. Didn't it piss EVERYbody off enough to respond? Didn't it launch 50's entire career? Wasn't it on a 2000 release? Just sayin'.
"ether" was more than a diss; it was a cultural phenomenon. it was such a vicious battle track that we now refer to it as a verb. so, not only will hov be remembered as one of the game's upper-tier mc, he'll be remembered as the first rapper ever to get ethered.
Pick any of the Em disses on Ja rule from that DID end Ja rules career. After Ether, they're the best dis's ever. "Keep Talkin"... all them.

I agree with Mike. The track that em did to after Ja mentioned Hailey (Was it the one Hail Mary when 50 called Irv Gotti, Larry Holmes, ROTFL ) and it went straight for Ja's throat. I have a tough time ranking a lot of these above that, but nice try.

You need to go through long distances sometimes, making you buy a lot of Teleport scrolls with your Rose zuly just to go to the cities. The quests are OK and have a good storyline so far, and you will gain a good amount of experience by grinding and rose zulie too. Something I liked in this game was the nice design of the clothes can have from rose online zuly. There also armor also can gain from rose online zulie sets that can be wore by any class. Another nice thing that I would like to talk about, is that you can have nice Arua ROSE zuly in ROSE Online.
